Encapsulation and luminescent property of [C5H5NC16H33][Eu(TTA)4] (TTA: tetrakis(1-(2-thenoy)-3,3,3-trifluoracetate) in chiral Si-MCM-41

摘要
[C5H5NC16H33][Eu(TTA)(4)] (TTA: 1-(2-thenoy)-3,3,3-trifluoracetate) is encapsulated in Si-MCM-41 which is modified with (3-chloropropyl)triethoxysilane and (1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane. The XPS and IR spectra prove that the two organic molecules is grafted onto the surface of the channel of Si-MCM-41, UV-visible spectra and XPS of the rare earth (RE) complex and the assembly prove that the RE complex is dispersed in the channels of the chiral Si-MCM-41. Compared with the RE complex itself, the colour purity and the unit-mass luminescent intensity of the assembly are enhanced four times and twelve times, respectively.
