摘要
Anatase TiO2 nanotubes were prepared by annealing protonic titanate nanotube precursor. Through galvanostatic investigation, the nanotubes as electrode exhibited high discharge capacity with 314.4 mAh/g in the first cycle and held a larger capacity in continuous cycles compared with normal crystalline TiO2. Up to 100% columbic efficiency hints of the perfect reversibility of lithium intercalation into and extraction from titania nanotubes and consequent extraordinary cycling stability. It is obvious that a titania nanotube electrode possesses large lithium intercalation capacity, high rate capability, and excellent cycling stability. In addition, the capacity decreasing in the first several cycles is investigated by cyclic voltammetric methods. (c) 2005 The Electrochemical Society.
