摘要
The growth, dissolution, and coarsening of complex carbides at 750 degreesC in a modified 12 pet chromium steel was simulated. The simulation is based on the assumption that thermodynamic equilibrium is established locally at the moving phase interface. A thermodynamic program was used to handle the thermodynamics and the kinetic data were taken from a multicomponent diffusion data bank. The growth, dissolution, and coarsening of the carbides were also investigated experimentally. The agreement between simulation and experiments is satisfactory.
