Investigation of magnetoresistance of Co/Cu multilayers at high temperatures

摘要
We have measured the magetoresistance of Co/Cu multilayers in the temperature range from 20 degrees C to 270 degrees C to investigate the reversibility of GMR under cycling through this temperature range. There is a transition temperature (from reversible to irreversible behavior), which depends on the Cu layer thickness in the Co/Cu multilayers. When the Cu layer thickness is 1.0 nm, the transition temperature is 120 degrees C; when Cu layer thickness is 2.2 nm, the transition temperature is 150 degrees C.
