I propose a BCS-Like paired wave function for the spin-gap phase of the zigzag spin-in ladders. A single parameter family of the proposed wave function can be made to continuously interpolate from the gapless spin-liquid state to the fully dimerized Majumdar-Ghosh state or from the weak- to the strong-coupling spin-paired states. The family of wave function clearly illuminates the nature of spin pairing in the spin-gap phase. [S0163-1829(98)09339-4].
