摘要
This mini-review outlines the current theories on the mechanism of electron transfer from water to P680, the location and structure of the water oxidising complex and the role of the manganese cluster. We discuss how our data fit in with current theories and put forward our ideas on the location and mechanism of water oxidation. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
