摘要
Reaction models for the formation and decomposition of metal hydrides with one rate determining partial reaction step are presented. The mechanisms discussed are based on reasonable physical assumptions for each of the partial steps. The results of the calculations are compared with experiments performed with LaNi4.7Al0.3 and Mg(Ni) powder samples.
