摘要
The electrochemical behavior of palladium modified Pt(100) in perchloric acid solution has been Studied by means of cyclic voltammetry, CO bulk oxidation and in-situ Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. FTIR spectra on Pd submonolayers reveal that at low potentials (about 0.4 V) Pd-bounded CO is oxidized preferentially, whereas at the same time the Pt-CO oxidation rate is rather slow.
