摘要
Quasiparticle states near the surface of a quasi-one-dimensional organic superconductor (TMTSF)(2)PF6 are studied based on an extended Hubbard model on a quasi-one-dimensional lattice at quarter filling. Three types of pairing symmetries (i) p wave, (ii) d wave, or (iii) "f wave" are assumed. The resulting surface density of states has characteristic features for each pairing symmetry: (i) a zero-energy peak (ZEP) in a U-shaped structure, (ii) a V-shaped structure without ZEP, and (iii) a ZEP in a V-shaped structure. From these results. we propose that the tunneling spectroscopy serves as a strong method to identify the pairing symmetry in (TMTSF)(2)PF6.
