摘要
In the frame of the development of blanket manufacturing technologies for DEMO, European associations FZK and CEA have worked on the diffusion welding of ferritic-martensitic (FM) steels. Satisfactory joint microstructure and properties are obtained when specific surface preparation procedures are followed. Different fabrication techniques including machining, bending and hot isostatic pressing-diffusion welding (HIP-DW) are proposed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
