摘要
Exercise is an important component of behavioral programs for weight control and is most effective when used in combination with changes in eating behavior. It seems that exercise consisting of 30 minutes per day will improve health-related outcomes. Approximately 60 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per day, however, may be necessary to improve weight control long-term. Therefore, it is necessary to consider behavioral strategies to enhance adoption and maintenance of adequate levels of exercise in overweight and obese individuals.
