Measurements of the thermal conductivity of Kapton tape at temperatures between 5 and 300 K are reported in this technical note. This material is useful for making low-conductance cryogenic ribbon cables. The thermal conductivity along the length of Kapton tape was found to be 5.24 x 10(-3)T(1.02) W m(-1) K-1.
