Highly efficient novel poly(p-phenylenevinylene) derivative with 1,3,4-oxadiazole pendant on a vinylene unit

摘要
The conjugated 1,3,4-oxadiazole (OXD) pendants on the vinylene unit of the polymer lead to an increase in electron affinity and decrease in interchain interaction. The light-emitting device based on OXD-PPV shows bright yellow emission with an efficiency of 0.43% and a brightness of 5140 cd/m2.
