The brachial plexus is at the source of all nerves of the forequarter. It originates from the anterior rami from C5 to T1. It progresses from the anterior rami to trunks, divisions, cords, and then terminal nerves. There is a consistent pattern to the brachial plexus, despite numerous variations.
