摘要：

A rational approach to skin cancer screening and prevention includes opportunistic skin cancer screening during examination of patients presenting for other disorders, encouragement of episodic voluntary screening, education of nondermatologist physicians and other health care providers to improve their clinical recognition skills for skin cancer, and counseling of patients to wear protective clothing, avoid the midday sun, and regularly use sunscreen.
