摘要
A modified procedure was developed for determining acid volatile sulfides (AVS) and simultaneously extracted metals (SEM) in freshwater sediments. A simple diffusion system employing relatively inexpensive glassware was compared to the more commonly utilized purge-and-nap system for generating AVS and SEM. Results obtained using the two different methods were generally comparable.
