摘要
This review covers comprehensively all the organic reactions that have ever been reported in the presence of Lewis acids or the use of homogeneous Lewis acids in organic synthesis. The aim is to show the current state of the transition from environmentally nontolerable, homogeneous Lewis acids toward solid Lewis acids. The review covers the chemical literature up to the year 2002.
