摘要：

Vanadium(III) chloride was found to catalyze the cleavage of epoxides with aromatic amines in an efficient way to afford the corresponding beta-amino alcohols in very good yields. The reactions are completely anti-stereoselective, highly regioselective and proceed at room temperature.
