摘要
Coexistence of UWB devices for body area network applications (UWB-BAN) with license services operating in the UWB band (or close) is studied. Particularly, fixed wireless access (FWA), point-to-point microwave services (PP), UMTS and WiMax terminals characteristics are analyzed in order to compute the maximum allowed interference tolerated for a given value of SNR degradation. Based on that, the minimum coupling loss method is employed in order to compute the minimum distance at which a generic UWB system operating with a EIRP of -41.3 dBm/MHz does not exceed the "maximum allowed" interference for different licensed wireless services.
