摘要
Nanoparticles are materials with diameters from 1 to 100 nm. They are produced in large quantities for very different applications such as lacquers, dyes, cosmetics, food, magnetic storage materials (tapes, disks, harddisks), catalysts and print materials (toners, inks). The development of new nanoparticles and the modification of available nanoparticles with new properties need considerable scientific efforts.
