摘要：
Various aspects of the wind power systems are discussed. It is found that systems based on advanced power electronics and energy storage devices are messaging and managing power flows from wind turbines, enabling them to contribute mightily to electricity grids. It is suggested that big storage systems, capable of storing at least tens of megawatt-hours of energy, could make wind power almost as 'dispatchable' as that from a fossil-fuel plant.
