摘要
The ZINCEX and PLACID Processes both recover lead from lead-acid battery pastes. The key to the ZINCEX process is the ability to treat primary and secondary zinc sources for the recovery of zinc in circumstances where significant amounts of impurities are present in chloride media. The PLACID process evolved from the serious technical, economical, and environmental limitations imposed on lead secondary conventional technologies. Over the years, not only has these processes been modified, but new applications continue to emerge.
