摘要
The magnetic phase diagram of U(Ru0.98Rh0.02)(2)Si-2 has been determined by neutron-scattering, specific heat, and magnetization measurements for magnetic fields applied along the c-axis up to 28.7 T. U(Ru0.98Rh0.02)(2)Si-2 has the same magnetic properties as URu2Si2 under hydrostatic pressure and shows two magnetic transitions. At the second-order phase transition, T-m = 13.4 K, a tiny ordered moment of 0.04 mu(B)/U is established, while at T-M = 8 K, a first-order phase transition gives rise to a large moment of 0.26 mu(B)/U. The large-moment phase disappears at a magnetic field of 5 T while the critical field for the small-moment phase is extrapolated to 36T, as in URu2Si2. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
