Synthesis and characterization of V-SBA-1 cubic mesoporous molecular sieves

摘要
Vanadosilicate V-SBA-1, which incorporated more than 4 wt % vanadium (Si/V < 20) in cubic mesoporous molecular sieves, was directly synthesized under strongly acidic conditions and characterized by various techniques. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that the resultant samples had a well-ordered cubic SBA-1 structure. The structural regularity of V-SBA-1 was improved by preparation under highly acidic conditions. N-2 adsorption/desorption measurements confirmed that an additional large mesopore (<approximate to>40 Angstrom) was simultaneously produced with the main one (approximate to 20 Angstrom) in SBA-1 after the incorporation of vanadium into the SBA-1 framework. UV-vis and laser Raman results revealed that the incorporated vanadium species existed in a highly dispersed state and had tetrahedral coordination.
