Parametric wavelength conversion and amplification using damage-resistant Zn:LiNbO3 waveguide

摘要
Wavelength conversion with a 12dB parametric gain is demonstrated using a picosecond pulse-to-pulse interaction in a periodically poled Zn:LiNbO(3) waveguide. Reduced photorefractive damage enabled intense pumping at a relatively low temperature (similar to 50 degreesC).
