New polyurethane-type rigid foams from liquified wood powders

摘要
A study was performed on producing polyurethane-type rigid foams from liquified wood powders. The foam was allowed to form at an ambient temperature, and allowed to be cured for two days before cutting them into specimens for measurements of the mechanical properties and densities. The mechanical properties of the foam specimens were measured according to JIS K7220 using a universal testing machine.
