摘要
The emitting species in conjugated polymers have been studied by single-molecule spectroscopy (see picture). The number of emissive centers (chromophores) varies as a function of molecular weight and chain length. A large ladder-type undecaphenylene was used as a molecular ruler to estimate the size of chromophores in the polymer and to enable a direct assessment of the polymeric conjugation length. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
