Combinatorial chemistry is widely considered as a key technology for accelerating the discovery of novel therapeutic agents. This review focuses on the analytical challenges associated with the field of combinatorial chemistry. It highlights the many ways mass spectrometry is being applied to the very diverse field of combinatorial chemistry.
