摘要：

This paper employs county level data to investigate the relationship between crime and male adult and youth unemployment in Britain. Our results indicate that there is a systematic positive relationship between most crime and male unemployment regardless of age. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
