摘要
The epithelial calcium channels, TRPV5 and TRPV6, have been extensively studied in epithelial tissues controlling the Ca2+ homeostasis and exhibit a range of distinctive properties that distinguish them from other TRP channels. This review focuses on the tissue distribution, the functional properties, the architecture and the regulation of the expression and activity of the TRPV5 and TRPV6 channel.
