M theory and the famous T-duality are reconsidered from a different perspective. Using P-Adic analysis it is shown that the norm of the low energy coupling constant alpha(0) may be set equal to the Planck mass coupling constant parallel to alpha(0)parallel to(2) = alpha((Q)) over bar (G) = 1.
