摘要：

The Thoratec biventricular assist device has been used extensively as a bridge to heart transplantation. Right atrial cannulation has always been used during right ventricular support, however diminished filling and output of the right ventricular assist device have been noticed when compared with filling and output of the left ventricular assist device. We describe a technique to directly cannulate the right ventricle to maximize filling and output of the right ventricular assist device. (C) 1998 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
