Effect of the ignition source on experimental values of the minimum extinguishing concentration of trifluoroidomethane in methane-air and heptane-air mixtures

摘要
It is found experimentally that the extinguishing concentration of trifluoroidomethane depends on the type of ignition source. It is shown that the minimum extinguishing concentration of trifluoroidomethane is at least 45% for methane-air mixtures and 50% for heptane-air mixtures.
