摘要
A sol-gel method assisted with triblock copolymer surfactant P123 was reported to synthesize uniform distributed nano-sized LiCoO2. Comparing the results of XRD measurement with that observed by SEM it was found that LiCoO2 particle is formed from a single crystal, which can be attributed to the effect of soft template P123. The size of nano-LiCoO2 particles increases with the increase of synthesizing temperature. Nano-LiCoO2 prepared at 750 degrees C exhibits high electrochemical performance with an initial discharge capacity of 149 mAh g(-1), and good cycling stability. It was found that the novel properties of nano-LiCoO2 particles provide the potential to prepare ultra-thin-film electrodes using computer jet-printing method, and might be used in thin-film lithium-ion batteries.
