摘要：

Pharmaceutical compounding is legally recognized by the FDA, the Supreme Court, Congress, NABP, and the USPC as a necessary component of quality health care. The FDA, USPC, and NABP are working together in defining standards for pharmaceutical compounding. Emphasis on quality of compounding is increasing with documentation of quality being recommended and required. These efforts should all serve to minimize errors and provide for quality pharmaceutical compounding.
