摘要
(Figure Presented) A transparent thin film of titanate nanotubes turns brown under cathodic polarization in water. This electrochromism arises from the creation of Ti3+ centers by proton intercalation into the interlayer separation of nanotubes. The significant color change of the titanate nanotubes is a consequence of their layered nanostructure. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
