摘要
CoPt nanoparticles with a size of 1-2 nm were synthesized by chemical reduction using the solvents of water and alcohol. A phase transformation from the originally disordered face centered cubic (FCC) structure to an ordered face centered tetragonal L1(0) structure occurred after annealing, which results in the coercivity up to 9 kOe because of the high anisotropy of the tetragonal phase (K approximate to 2-4 x 10(7) erg/cm(3)) (Philos. Mag. 13 (1966) 567; IEEE Trans. Magn. 20 (1984) 1625). HREM images of as-grow Co48Pt52 shows the single-crystalline FCC structure with the shape of columnar and spherical. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
