Performance of a new picosecond KTP optical parametric generator and amplifier

摘要
Generation and amplification of picosecond laser pulses based on a double pass through potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) crystals pumped by the second harmonic of a mode-locked Nd:YAG laser at 532 nm are reported. This new arrangement allows to obtain broadly tunable pulses from visible (700 nm) to infrared (2.8 mu m) with a higher conversion efficiency (up to 14%) comparatively to the previous devices.
