Enhancement of holographic gratings by external electric fields in photorefractive BTVO crystals during reconstruction

摘要
Reconstruction of elementary holograms recorded in photorefractive BTVO (Bi12Ti0.76V0.24O20) crystals is investigated. A non-exponential decay behavior presumably caused by superposition of at least two gratings with different time constants is observed. By applying external electric de fields an a posteriori control of the diffracted intensity during reconstruction is achieved.
