Feedback-control to realize and stabilize chaos synchronization

Recently synchronization of chaos has been extensively investigated and application to communication has been exploited. However, theoretical and experimental studies thus far are mainly under the hypotheses that the parameters of the drive system are precisely known, that the phase of the forcing signal of drive system is same as that of response system and that the received signal is same as the transmitted signal. To make application of chaos synchronization to communication and to other aspect more realizable, we consider by means of feedback-control the case that some parameters of drive system, the phase difference between drive system and response system and (or) the ratio between received signal and transmitted signal are unknown or even slow-varying. Theoretical and numerical results show that the synchronization can be realized and additionally, that secret communication can be realized in a way different from that in the literature, i.e., by encoding information signal to one parameter of drive system and then decoding it from the corresponding parameter of the response system.
