摘要：

Renal cell carcinoma is known to present with a variety of paraneoplastic syndromes. We report a case of renal cell carcinoma presenting as limbic encephalitis which is a rare inflammatory process involving the temporal lobes of the brain. In addition, we review the clinical presentation and pathophysiology of limbic encephalitis.
