摘要
The properties of D-5(3) --> F-7(J) (blue) and D-5(4) --> F-7(J) (green) emission in Tb3+ were formerly described by a non-linear model of resonant energy transfer by the authors. In order to determine its parameters experimentally, we studied a time-resolved photoluminescence of Tb3+-doped glasses by exciting either D-5(3) or D-5(4) level separately. Based on the measured radiative decay rate of each emission line under selective excitation? the energy transfer probability and the state-distribution functions among D-5(3), D-5(4), F-7(6) and F-7(0) levels were calculated as a function of Tb3+ concentration.
