The use of derivatized magnetoliposomes for extraction of antibodies from aqueous solutions

摘要
The paper describes the synthesis of magnetoliposomes derivatized with fluorescent ligands and their use for the detection and extraction of antibodies from aqueous solutions. The magnetoliposomes contain cobalt platinum alloy nanoparticles that were annealed prior to encapsulation in the liposomes. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images and SQUID magnetometry measurements show that the annealing process improves their room temperature magnetic properties. To demonstrate their extraction power, magnetoliposomes labeled with BODIPY-Fluorescein were used to extract antibodies against BODIPY-Fluorescein from aqueous solution.
