Time-domain transmission control of dispersion-managed solitons

摘要
The time-domain transmission control of dispersion-managed solitons is numerically studied. It is shown that synchronous amplitude modulation can stabilise the pulse energy without simultaneous use of narrowband filters if the modulators are suitably located in a unit cell of the dispersion map. This is an advantage of the dispersion-managed soliton over standard solitons in uniform. fibres, which always require narrowband filters for stabilisation of pulse energy in lime-domain control.
