摘要
The application of social networks, its influence and a technique developed to mine social networks for marketing campaigns purposes was discussed. It is found that social networks are provided in formats and if such a kind of information is refined then a wealth of new applications can be offered such as better recommendations for restaurants and trustworthy e-mail senders. These networks contain sufficient information to build models of individual nodes that can be assembled into models of the networks, giving unprecedented level of details in social network analysis. These social network models also allow to design viral-marketing plans that maximize customer satisfaction and also help to achieve much higher profits.
