摘要
A simple method to synthesize magnetic nanoparticles (MN) with immobilized metal ions for fast and efficient removal of microcystins (MC) in water was discussed. Amine magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized by a solvo-thermal reaction and were converted into carboxy magnetite nanoparticles through a two-step amidation reaction. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of the as-synthesized amine magnetic nanoparticles revealed that the particles have a mean diameter equivalent to 50 nm with narrow size distribution. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of the as-prepared magnetic nanoparticles also revealed that they were nearly spherical in shape and possessed a smooth surface. TEM and SEM observations showed that the two-step amidations have almost no effect on the size and morphology of the magnetite nanoparticles. The results show that the MC-RR and MC-LR are removed efficiently after the treatment of Cu2+ MNs.
