Is abnormal heart rate variability a specific feature of congestive heart failure?

摘要：

In the analysis of traditional and nonlinear indexes of heart rate variability, we have found that they are significantly altered among patients with congestive heart failure and appropriate sinus tachycardia. This suggests that such findings are not specifically related to congestive heart failure, and can be seen in a wide variety of pathophysiologic disorders characterized by neurohumoral activation.
