摘要
The monitoring of batteries in many machines can be accomplished through prognostics. Prognostics is about the estimation of remaining component life when an abnormal condition has been detected. The key useful prognostics is not only an accurate remaining life estimate, but also an estimate of the confidence of the uncertainty assessment. Such assessments are known by the phrase "battery health monitoring", which has a wide variety of connotations, ranging from intermittent manual measurements of voltage and electrolyte specific gravity to fully automate online supervision of different measured and estimated battery parameters. In aerospace applications, there are various battery diagnostic methods available, like discharge to a fixed cut-off voltage, open circuit voltage, voltage under load, electrochemical impedance spectrometry and combining conductance technology with other measured parameters.
