Cationic effect in agueous solutions of 1:1 electrolytes by Raman spectral data

摘要
New experimental data by Raman spectral analysis of light and heavy water and also the aqueous solutions of 1:1 electrolytes were received. It is very important that the water band of O-H (O-D) stretching vibrations have five but not three components at normal conditions of study. Our explanations of experimental facts are based on the presence of the spatial hydrogen network in liquid water and electrolyte solutions. The mechanism of defect formation as model of rotational reorientations of the water molecules was suggested. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
