CoCu(111) superlattices investigated by Brillouin light scattering

摘要
Four Co/Cu(111) superlattices, grown by molecular beam epitaxy, have been investigated using Brillouin light scattering. The samples were single crystalline, with fee stacking, and complete lattice matching between the Co and Cu layers. The spin wave bulk and surface modes were observed for applied fields in the range 0.01-0.45 T and the gyromagnetic ratio gamma, saturation magnetisation 4 pi M(s), and band factor xi determined.
